How can I buy a ticket if I don't have a credit card?
You can buy tickets on the door, box office opens at 19.30pm.
 
Can I buy tickets on the door?
Yes, you can buy tickets on the door for the film screening that evening.  Box office opens at 19.30.
 
How much are tickets?
Tickets are $20.00 for adults and $14.90 for concession/students/children aged 6-15 years.  Children under 6 enter for free.  When booking online you can take advantage of our $14.90 earlybird tickets which are available until ten days before each film screening, unless it is a special event or the allocated number of earlybird tickets are sold out.
 
I bought my ticket online and my PDF ticket hasn't come through yet what should I do?
If it gets to the day of the screening and you still havn't received your PDF ticket from Moshtix just bring your ID and you will be able to gain entry.
 
How do I redeem a Gift Voucher?

Can I change my ticket to a different night if I change my mind?
Tickets are non refundable and non transferable.
 
What about it rains?
We are an all weather event, and will run the film unless the weather conditions make it dangerous to do so. If a session is cancelled due to dangerous weather your tickets will be transferrable for any other night of our season.
 
How do I find out if a screening has been cancelled?
You will be notified via email if you booked online, otherwise notification will be on the website in Recent News.
 
Is this an over 18 event?
Yes, the St Kilda Openair Cinema has a fully licensed bar. Under 18's will be only be permitted when accompanied by an adult.
 
Can we purchase drinks and food at the event?
Yes.  There is a fully licensed bar on the rooftop and food options are available.
 
Can we bring our own food and drink?
You are welcome to bring your own picnic but please no BYO alcohol.
 
What is the seating arrangement?
Seating is unreserved, so come early to get a good spot. Bean bags and low lying deck chairs are available on a first come first serve basis.  You are very welcome to bring your own deck chairs, beanbags, picnic blankets etc.
 
Is this an accessible event?
Yes, St Kilda Sea Baths is accessible venue for people using wheelchairs.  Please email or call us if you need assistance during your visit to St Kilda Openair.
 
What times does the night start?
7.30pm with live acoustic and dj sets. The film screens at sundown. 
 
Can I bring my dog, goldfish or pet mouse along?
Sorry, no pets allowed at the venue.
 
Can we make group bookings at St Kilda Openair Cinema?
We do not make group booking but advise when booking for a group that you book at least a week in advance of the movie screening in order to take advantage of our earlybird ticket price.
 
Any recommendations?
We advise that you bring a warm jumper or blanklet even if it has been a warm day as it can get chilly by the sea in the evening.
